Baked Apple Pancake

I made this amazing baked apple pancake. (Recommended by Rayli Boyd, author of Rayli’s world) Its recipe is found in the cook book: American Girl Baking. Here are some pictures of this yumminess. img_3317img_3316img_3315

Amazing lemon bars

I made some lemon bars and they are amazing. They are tangy and sweet and the crust is a little nutty. However, I do believe that there is not enough of the filling and it is a little too sweet for my liking. I think that next time I will try a different recipe for the filling so it is a little more tangy and I will double the recipe. But the crust is really yummy and is gluten free. Here is the recipe: Lemon bars

Goodbye Cambodia

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for following my travels on my blog! I am on the last air plane going from Toronto to Columbus. It is a one hour flight, which feels like a 15 – 30 minutes after you have been on a 12 hour flight. It was a very sad Wednesday for us, there were many, many tears and goodbyes between sobs.  We had a 5 hr flight to S. Korea and then an 11 hr layover. We got a tour of Seol which was pretty cool and got to shower. Then the worst part, the 12 hr flight. If I describe it here you will most likely: 1. Fall asleep, 2. Skip the section, 3. Stop reading, 4. Be bored out of your mind, 5. All of the above. And we are caught up to now, I am blogging (obviously), and trying keep my self and my dad awake. That is all for now!

Day 10

Hi from the other side of the world! It is day 10 and we are driving back from Battambang to Phnom Phenn. It is a 5 hr drive and I am very very VERY bored. We are almost to our final destination and I can’t wait to get out of this car and run around with the people I love! I will try to keep you updated.

Day 9

Hi everybody!  I am sorry that I haven’t been posting! Today we are traveling from Siem Reap to Battambang. It is a 3 hr drive and tomorrow we are going back to Phnom Phenn. 2 nights ago we went on an ATV tour and we had a blast! Lets just say we were pretty soaked because it rained that night. Last night we were at Amazon Angkor which is a restaurant that has traditional Khmer dancing.  Their dances are beautiful. That is all for now! I’ll try to post tomorrow.

Hi everybody! I am traveling to Cambodia and I will be posting as much as I can. Right now I am in Toronto, Canada on a 6 hour layover trying to pass the time. After this, we have a 15 hour flight to Seoul, South Korea and then to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I will try to keep you updated.
